What an amazing quote! I think that it can be really easy to just decide not to love anything to keep yourself from hurting....really though you are keeping yourself from redemption as well.
I like this statement! But I love what he sais next: "the only place beside heaven, where you are perfectly safe from all dangers of love, is hell." (I hope I got this correct...) - great blog by the way!
